Your Mind Is A Garden. Weed out anxiety thoughts...

One of the key factors in the process of learning to stop anxiety is to realize that you actually have control over what you allow in to the garden of your mind.

For a lot of anxiety sufferers we  feel like these negative thoughts are running through our minds and we are victims of our worst case scenario thoughts. The truth is you can replace any thought in your mind by thinking about something else. Give that a try.

Think about that meteor from the Discovery channel that is headed for earth…. It will get here next thursday and wipe us all out…. How does that feel in your body? Probably not so good.

NOW, REPLACE that thought with an image of you having a great birthday party for your 90th birthday many years form now… See all your grandchildren. See all your friends and family gathered around.  How does that feel in your body?

Better? cool.
